OPCFHK celebrated the 14th Ocean park Conservation Day on 10 January 2009. This year, OPCFHK appealed for public support on the rebuilding of panda nature reserves in Sichuan after last year's 12 May earthquake. The day was filled with panda conservation messages, through Mr. with Mr. Louis Koo interacting with children in panda costumes, game booths and a Wolong photo exhibition collaborating with the Development Bureau. Ocean Park has generously donated the event day’s gate revenue of $1.27 million to support our giant panda base rebuilding fund.
