It is the third consecutive years for the Raffle Ticket
fundraising campaign of which tickets were offered at
HK$10 each during mid-April to end of May 2006. Over
100 volunteers from more than 20 secondary schools helped
sell the tickets to Ocean Park's visitors. Local schools,
Ocean Park’s Board members and business associates also
supported the programme. In all, the Foundation raised
close to HK$340,000 to support its conservation projects
including population survey on endangered animals as
well as staff training on conservation efforts in the
region.
The Foundation received sponsorship for the 30 pieces
of lucky draw prize. Sponsors include Ocean Park Corporation,
