Toys"R"Us was a title sponsor of the Lovely Giant
Panda Party, and the company pledged to raise HK$400,000
for the Society between April and December 2004, including
a guaranteed $200,000. Toys"R"Us has worked toward
this generous commitment in several ways.
One highlight of the programme included a Charity Photo-taking
Session at Toys"R"Us stores, where customers
were able to take an instant photo with Ocean Park's
An An mascot for a HK$20 donation to the Society. Customers
could also contribute to the Society through donation
boxes placed at Toys"R"Us cashier and customer
service counters around the city. In addition, giant
panda plush toys went on sale at Ocean Park and Toys"R"Us
stores. For each toy sold, Toys"R"Us donated
HK$25 to the Society.
