Charity Relay Challenge 2021

Charity Relay Challenge 2021

Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK) is going to launch a new charity relay event, “Charity Relay Challenge 2021”. It will be staged at Ocean Park Hong Kong and Water World on 28 November 2021 (Sunday). The participants can enjoy the magnificent views of South China Sea through swimming, cycling and running course. They are also entitled to spend the rest of the day at Water World.

With “Relay For Our Oceans” being the theme this year, “Charity Relay Challenge 2021” aims to raise the public’s awareness on different environmental issues, such as climate change and plastic pollution. The race is composed of three courses: 350m swimming, 10km cycling and 3km running. Olympic Gold Medalist, Guo Jingjing and Ocean Park’s Chairman, Lau Ming Wai will be our conservation leaders and lead 3 athletes and celebrities to start off the event, followed by the 300 participants. Participants will form a team of three (100 teams in total) and finish the relay in hand. The next member can only begin the corresponding race when the previous member reaches the transition site.

All proceed from the event will go to OPCFHK to support our Asian wildlife conservation work. We are calling for all nature enthusiasts to join us in promoting conservation messages. Entries are first-come, first served basis. Don’t hesitate and register now to claim the limited edition medal and tee.
