Students reflection:

The two-week journey to Nepal has definitely been an unforgettable experience to us!  In addition to doing field surveys which most of us were new to, we also had gone through many challenges, successes and failures.  Most importantly, the trip let us understand that conservation indeed is something complicated and not as easy as just saying “Don’ts”.  During the research, sometimes the weather wasn’t favourable, sometimes the road was bumpy, and sometimes we just dreaded not being able to find a place to sleep… It was hard and difficult, but when we remembered why we started in the first place, it kept us moving and going.  The trip has certainly given us a new perceptive to conservation as well as to our life: when you dare doing something, you will succeed.  We believe the insights we gained through our journey to Nepal will stay with us and help us fly up high to wherever we dare to achieve in the future.
