Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK) has been committed to advocating, facilitating and participating in effective conservation of Asian wildlife, with an emphasis on Chinese white dolphins and giant pandas, as well as their habitats.

Thanks to the support of all sectors of society, since the Foundation expanded in 2005, it has provided funding for 604 research projects across 24 Asian regions, covering 280 species including cetaceans and giant pandas, with total grants exceeding HK$120 million.

We will organize a Hong Kong Island Flag Day on 11 July 2026 to raise funds for the Foundation’s work in Hong Kong, including cetacean stranding responses, species research projects, and local community education programmes. This year’s theme, “Practise Conservation Through Lifestyle and Protect Asia’s Biodiversity Together,” features Ocean Park’s Panda Friends, encourages green living habits. We warmly invite you, your family and friends to support our conservation efforts and take action to protect biodiversity!

Introduction of Flag Sheet

Support Vegan Diet

Don’t mistake An An for being greedy! In fact, a plant-based diet requires far less land, water, and energy than a meat-based diet, helping conserve resources, while avoiding meat also reduces harm to animals.

Bring Your Own Bottle

Ying Ying always brings her own water bottle when going out. This practice helps to reduce plastic waste, avoids the use of single-use plastic bottles and lessens pollution and landfill pressure.

Low-carbon Commuting

De De encourages everyone to walk and cycle more. Not only does this help reduce air pollution and improve urban air quality, but it also increases daily physical activity and promotes better health.
