The Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK) annual flagship event, the Ocean Park Conservation Day, was held in Ocean Park on 24-25 January 2026 with great success. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the event was themed "Embracing Nature Diversity Together." Through a series of engaging and educational activities, it aimed to raise public awareness of the survival threats faced by endangered wildlife species including giant pandas, corals, Chinese white dolphins, freshwater turtles, horseshoe crabs and yellow-breasted buntings, while calling upon the community to join hands to safeguard the natural ecosystems of Hong Kong and Asia.
The 2-day event featured a range of educational and interactive booths, games, and workshops centered around different threatened species. Families and friends were seen to be fascinated in joining workshops to create eco-friendly soaps and ocean-friendly sunscreen. The mission-completed souvenir, a giant panda stamp postcard, was another highlight when adults and kids both found it irresistible.

Special back-of-house guided tour at the conservation facilities after the seminars were organised. These activities provided families of all ages to learn more about wildlife conservation in an engaging manner.
